This is our first SDR position, so you will have freedom to succeed and build our prospecting capabilities. Success in this role means growing the funnel and passing on customers ready to buy to our experienced sales team.

Your role will include:
- Deliver measurable improvements to new sales opportunities (leads, sales qualified leads and funnel growth).
- Open new leads using sales enablement tools, with outreach through email, phone and social media interactions.
- Pre-qualify sales prospects and schedule sales presentations for the regional sales and business development managers.
- Develop targeted account lists and strategies working with the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Implement prospecting tools and systems to launch and improve sales outreach programs.
- Maintain detailed records of activities and progress in the company’s CRM database.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of vision applications for industrial robots and cobots.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the automation industry—how end-users, integrators, and distributors work with Apera AI to improve manufacturing productivity.
Desired qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years selling experience, with automation, manufacturing or B2B experience desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bachelor or technical degree in engineering, business, controls or another .
- You take strong ownership of your work and can overcome rejection to achieve results. This means you’re great on the phone and in emails.
- You constantly work to improve your sales methods.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Strong collaborator with ability to develop rapport with all levels of a prospect’s organization.
- Past experience using a CRM database, including managing target accounts records.
