Join us for inside look at Apera Forge and discover what's new!
Apera Forge is a web-based application that helps you eliminate re-designs of your cell and gripper and to empty your bin or rack. Our latest release gives more flexibility in cell design and camera placement, opening the door to de-racking applications.
What You'll Learn in This Session
In this webinar, you’ll learn how to use Apera Forge to simulate your robotic cell and pick parts from a bin or rack.
We’ll cover how to:
- Design your cell – upload your part-to-be-picked and end of arm tool (EOAT), select your robot from a library of leading brands, and lay out your camera, bin, fences, and obstacles.
- Simulate operation – run a simulation with parts in a bin (random or structured). See which parts are pickable, which aren’t, and how your design might be changed to increase the pickable %.
- Deploy your cell – if you're using an Apera vision system, you can send your Forge cell to AI training, which will create vision programming tailored for your system using millions of generated parts, and deploy those vision algorithms on-site.
