These long metal parts are in a tight bin, are shiny and nest within each other. It’s a triple challenge that Vue vision software and the robot-mounted 2D cameras manage to solve. The Yaskawa GP-12 robot reliably moves parts out of the bin and on to a precision alignment step that shows how an assembly step could follow picking.
